Astride Shem Creek, this distinctive two-story home features traditional design with a contemporary palette.  Through the judicious use of detail and quality materials, the living spaces were simplified and their enjoyment enhanced.  Its outward simplicity concealed a multitude of other decisions– what to omit, what to include, and how these selections could work best together.  From the library paneling and mahogany stair railings to the custom light fixtures and specific shade of white on the walls, no detail lacked consideration.
