This mid-century masonry structure still possessed the original steel windows and clean exterior detailing when discovered by my clients.  The ensuing renovation was extensive– the main stairway was relocated and all three floors were reconfigured– but we managed to preserve all but one of the original windows, and sourced additional matching steel windows from the Hudson Valley.  The scope of work included 2300 sf of new heated additions and a 600 sf guest house facing a new diving pool discretely carved into the rising slope.
